The Studio

A hidden island of creativity set within a Victorian coach house in the west end of Glasgow, Dystopia is a recording studio created for artists by artists.

We are located just off Hayburn Street, a few minutes walk from Partick train station and benefitting from private parking.

Alongside the live room and control room we house a photography studio, listening lounge, editing suite and kitchen with dining area.

Our goal is to provide a studio space that maximises creativity, pairing a welcoming, relaxed environment with top of the line technical facilities and expertise.

The Live Room

Our huge 270m³ live room offers versatility for all types of recording, from full band live sessions to mulitracking individual instruments. The perfect place to capture a big drum sound, vintage amplification, roomy piano, soaring strings or a crystal clear vocal.

Having space to record in means more tonal options and microphone choices are available, making our space excellent for creative and experimental recording methods.

The modular and movable acoustic panels give us full control of the sound image making this a great room for any project.
